Arvin Brown

Arvin Brown (nar. 24. května 1940) je americký divadelní a televizní režisér a byl uměleckým ředitelem divadla Long Wharf Theatre v New Havenu, Connecticut po dobu 30 let. Byl ženatý s herečkou Joyce Ebert až do její smrti v roce 1997. Narodil se v Los Angeles, Kalifornie, Brown udělal svůj broadwayský režisérský debut s rozhlasovým revivalom Noel Coward's Hay Fever (1970). Další režijní zásluhy zahrnují The National Health (1974), Ah, Wilderness! (1975), Watch on the Rhine (1980), A View from the Bridge (1983), American Buffalo (1983), Open Admissions (1984), Requiem for a Heavyweight (1985), A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (1985), All My Sons (1987), Private Lives (1992) a The Twilight of the Golds (1993). Brown režíroval pro mnoho televizních seriálů, včetně mnoha epizod NCIS, Leverage, Lie to Me, The Practice, Ally McBeal, Crossing Jordan, Kevin Hill, Everwood a The Closer, a jednotlivé epizody pro Picket Fences, Party of Five, Chicago Hope, Dawson's Creek, Judging Amy, Ed, Private Practice a Shark, mezi mnoha dalšími. Natočil jeden celovečerní film, Diary of the Dead (1976), ve kterém hráli Geraldine Fitzgerald, Hector Elizondo a Salome Jens.
